2. Acceptance of Conditions
Using this website, requesting a quote, or confirming a reservation implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. Anyplace Costa Rica recommends reviewing this information before hiring any transfer, tour, or custom service.
3. Services Offered
Anyplace Costa Rica provides private transportation, airport transfers, guided tours, and custom tourism services. It does not operate as regular public or collective transportation. Descriptions, prices, schedules, and availability may change depending on route, weather, access, safety, providers, and operational conditions.
4. Reservations and Confirmation
- Reservations may be requested through the website, WhatsApp, email, or any official Anyplace Costa Rica channel.
- A reservation is considered confirmed only when the client receives confirmation from our team. Depending on the service, a deposit or advance payment may be required to secure the date, vehicle, and logistics.
- The client must provide complete and accurate information: name, phone, email, date, pickup point, destination, passenger count, flight number when applicable, luggage, and any special item.
5. Payments, Deposits, and Rates
- When card payment is available, it is processed through a secure payment gateway. Anyplace Costa Rica does not store full card details.
- A deposit or advance payment may be required to block the reservation. Any remaining balance must be paid according to the method and deadline stated in the confirmation.
- Prices may vary by route, distance, schedule, additional stops, special luggage, passenger count, entrance fees, providers, or changes requested by the client.
6. Cancellations and No Show
- Cancellations made 48 hours before service: 100% refund of the amount paid or free rescheduling, subject to availability.
- Cancellations made 24 hours before service: 50% refund or rescheduling without penalty, subject to availability. Less than 24 hours before service: no refund applies; rescheduling may be evaluated only for justified causes and operational availability.
- No Show: if the passenger does not appear at the agreed location and does not contact our team within the indicated waiting time, the service is considered completed and no refund will be issued.
7. Schedules, Waiting Time, and Flights
- Passengers must be ready at the pickup point at least 10 minutes before the agreed time. Drivers may wait up to 15 minutes after the scheduled time; after that, the reservation may be considered a No Show.
- For airport transfers, we monitor the flight when the client provides the correct flight number. If the flight is delayed, pickup time will be adjusted at no additional cost when the delay is reported or can be verified.
8. Passenger Conduct and Safety
Passenger, driver, and provider safety is always the priority. Anyplace Costa Rica reserves the right to reject or terminate a service when a passenger:
- Puts the driver, passengers, vehicle, or third parties at risk.
- Causes damage to the vehicle, equipment, or provider property.
- Shows aggressive, violent, illegal, or Costa Rican law-infringing behavior.
In these cases, the service may end without refund and the client will be responsible for any direct damage caused.
9. Liability, Weather, Luggage, and Personal Items
- Anyplace Costa Rica provides services with well-maintained vehicles and responsible drivers; however, it is not responsible for delays caused by road closures, accidents, demonstrations, weather, police checks, force majeure, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
- Each passenger is responsible for their belongings. Additional luggage, surfboards, bicycles, sports equipment, child seats, pets, or special items must be reported in advance so the proper vehicle can be assigned. If an item is found in a vehicle, we will do our best to coordinate its return.
10. Database Protection and Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with Law No. 8968 on the Protection of the Person against the Processing of Personal Data. Please review our Privacy Policy for details about collected data, purposes, security, providers, and user rights.
11. Changes, Force Majeure, and Applicable Law
Changes to date, time, or destination are subject to availability and may generate a rate difference if they imply a different route, longer distance, or additional logistics. If Anyplace Costa Rica cannot provide the service due to mechanical issues, weather, emergencies, or force majeure, the client may choose between rescheduling or a full refund of the amount paid.
These terms are governed by the laws and competent courts of the Republic of Costa Rica. Current versions will be published on this website.
